Welcome to Newleaf Kitchens

At Newleaf Kitchens we create living spaces that are perfect for you.

The core elements of a great kitchen are understanding how you want to live. Your kitchen should be designed to make that a reality. The materials you choose to have it made from are dependent on your taste and how much you choose to spend.

Jill and Brian head up Newleaf and are designers and suppliers of beautiful kitchens and custom cabinetry all across the UK. We understand that every home and every family is unique and we specialise in helping you create individual kitchen spaces with an emphasis on getting the purpose and function right. Then we layer on the style for a kitchen that looks fabulous and is a joy to live in and use.

About us

Perfectly designed, just for you

We have two different cabinetry lines: Christiana Cabinetry combines 40 years of world class furniture making with old and modern materials and is manufactured in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Cotswold Collection is high quality bespoke cabinetry you will be proud to own and is manufactured in our own workshop in the Cotswolds.

We hope the pictures throughout our website will tempt you to talk to us.

Testimonials

"You won’t find a more lovely couple to work with - efficient, hard working and patient. Their appreciation of the need for a new kitchen to blend into an old cottage and the time they took to understand our way of working and find creative solutions to our storage needs was brilliant. We have been impressed by the quality of the bespoke cabinetry they supply which is beautiful and tactile. We are very happy to recommend Newleaf."

“Easy to get on with and great ideas. Happy to have multiple rounds of changes and work with others.”
TC, Macclesfield
“I asked Jill and Brian to help me with my extension design - how to the extend the kitchen into the extension to make it ‘flow’. The way Jill and Brian approach their design straight away shows their difference. They ask questions to determine how you use the space and highlighted things I would never have thought of. Through the design process they ended up helping me with more of the downstairs layout and I have a design that is perfect and importantly will our needs, how we live/use space and we have ended up with a brilliant design. Huge thanks to you both!”

Your 5 Step Kitchen Journey

We’ve outlined your kitchen journey with us to guarantee that everything is considered and there’s no rush. We’ll spend the time answering all of your questions and put to rest any concerns you may have.

1. We’d like to come and visit you
When we first connect with you, we find out about your project and then decide if we can do an initial consultation virtually or if we need to visit. Our initial consultation is complimentary. We’ll take a brief, ask lots of questions, invite you to show us around your room, or ask for plans of your extension or property and we’ll need some rough measurements. We will discover exactly what you want to achieve in your home, so that we can start our journey to create the right outcome for you.

2. The Design Process
We then follow up with some sketches, and you’ll begin to picture your new kitchen. If you’re happy with our ideas we can move on to the design stage – this comes with a fee because we know our designs have real value. If you decide to buy the full kitchen cabinetry from us then the design fee is refundable against the cost.

We then work with you to finalise the design – sometimes this is just cabinetry layout or it can include worktops, appliances, flooring, colours, handles etc. Everything will be accurately measured. Now you can begin to see your personal design materialise.

3. Numbers Time

After finalising your design, it’s numbers time…If you are engaging us for the whole project from design to installation, with cabinetry from either our Cotswold Collection or Christiana Cabinetry, we’ll put together a comprehensive quote.

If you decide to just use our design, then all the drawings will be handed over and we will wish you the best for your new kitchen. Once you accept the quote we enter into a contract and we’ll create a project schedule, order the kitchen (or put it into our manufacturing schedule) and order any other samples we need. We also place orders for appliances, so everything is on track, and we have an agreed date for the work to commence.

4. Today is the day

If your project is a new build, an extension or the replacement of an existing kitchen we’ll have liaised with your builder to be sure that the room is ready; walls decorated, floor levelled, and electrics and plumbing will be in all the right places. Flooring is usually done first. The cabinetry is installed, worktops templated and fit, plumbing and electrics hooked up, appliances fit, and splash back installed. You can engage us to take care of everything – we can line up builders, get structural engineers in, painters, tilers – the whole team.

It might be a little noisy and a little messy, but we do our best to keep the inconvenience to a minimum for you, and your neighbours.

5. Finished and signed off

Your beautiful kitchen is now complete, and it will look amazing!

We always leave the property clean to make your new kitchen perfect and ready for you. We will be round to sign it off and check that you are delighted.

We would love to be able to stage the kitchen and take some completed pictures.

For you all that’s left to do is enjoy the perfect space for you and your family.
